The logical structure of INGUN part numbers allows test probes to be clearly identified and selected. Series, material, tip style and diameter, spring force and installation ratio are defined via the individual codes. Within a series, the various possible combinations are described on the respective catalogue page. After selecting the individual components, the ordering designation can then be determined according to the following system. You can find more information in our knowledge area.

No. Depending on the receptacles to be installed and the spring-loaded test probes, various tools and bits are available. For example, receptacles (KS) are pressed into the probe plate, either up to the collar stop or by countersinking the press ring to allow for variable adjustment of the installation height. Only with optimally assembled receptacles and test probes can a frictionless test  be guaranteed. Here you will find the optimal tool.

The continuous rated current that standard test probes can transmit depends on the size of the components, the spring force and the plunger material used. The following applies to the plunger material: plungers from cooper beryllium or brass transmit higher currents than steel plungers. The permissible rated currents are listed under the product descriptions of the individual series and only apply at room temperature and for direct current from the specified spring force at working stroke. For alternating current, the specifications must be reduced by factor 1/√2. The maximum permissible current carrying capacity can be found on the product pages under Electrical data for each product.

All accessories as well as spare parts, exchangeable kits and starter kits can be found either in our test fixtures catalogue or in our online shop.
