INGUN donates
over 6000 Euro
to the Radio 7 Drachenkinder

The test equipment manufacturer based in Constance, on the banks of Lake Constance, is celebrating its 50th birthday this year and used this occasion to support the Radio 7 children’s charity Drachenkinder (Kite Children) with the help of all their employees worldwide.

INGUN Prüfmittelbau GmbH based in Constance is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Due to the corona restrictions, the company decided not to hold a big celebration with all its employees and instead organised a digital event for them to participate in.

From 1st July to 8th August 2021, the INGUN Future Bakery was open, and very productive. All employees worldwide received a small package from INGUN with an apron, a spatula, and a birthday candle to bake at home for a good cause. INGUN made a donation to the Radio 7 Drachenkinder for every picture of home-made baking that was posted on the company intranet. In total, 6660 euros were whipped up in five weeks.

"We are happy that we could use our milestone birthday not only to celebrate our own success story, but also to do something good!", says Armin Karl, owner and CEO of INGUN.

On 27th October 2021, the donation cheque was handed over to Radio 7 Drachenkinder GmbH, rep-resented by its director Ursula Schuhmacher, by Mr. Karl personally. Drachenkinder are children and young people from Germany’s Radio7 broadcasting area who have endured a lot of suffering and are traumatised by illness, disability, exposure to violence, the death of a family member, or other unfortunate strokes of fate.

Support is given to children and young people and their families, for example by covering therapy costs that are not covered by health insurance. In addition, the non-profit organisation also awards grants for assistance measures such as vehicle modifications, the purchase of specialised bicycles or therapy equipment, and participates in the financing of leisure activities.
