In-circuit test
In the in-circuit test (ICT), all the individual components of an assembly are tested for component placement or installation errors, and soldering defects, among other things. Here, short circuits and interruptions in conductor paths, defective, incorrect, or missing components can be detected and replaced accordingly. Corresponding test points are planned during the design of the electronic assembly, which are contacted and measured with spring-loaded test probes so that ICT test can be performed.
