The challenge: Growing current requirements, limited space
As the capacity of modern battery cells increases - especially in large cylindrical and prismatic formats - so do the demands on the contacting system. The required current-carrying capacities are increasing, but the available contact surface area remains virtually unchanged.
The new high-current probes in our BCP series solve precisely this problem—with a compact design, excellent current-carrying capacity, and reduced spring force.
Our solution: Two custom-designed series
The BCP-65x and BCP-69x series were specifically developed to meet various requirements in cell formation. Both series boast a current-carrying capacity of 125–300 A, integrated voltage measurement, and a durable, robust design—tested under real-world conditions on aluminum DUTs.
BCP-69x: The standard solution – reimagined
The 69x series relies on tried-and-tested flange mounting with flexible cable connection – perfect for existing system layouts.
- Standardised mounting with screw flange
- Flexible cable connection
- High-quality flange (polyamide - flame-retardant & chemical-resistant)
- Integrated voltage sensor with solderless plug-in system

BCP-65x: For maximum performance in minimal space
The 65x series conducts high currents directly through the probe - without any moving cables.
- Direct current supply reduces installation space and complexity
- Fewer contact points, lower contact resistance
- Ideal for integration on busbars in compact structures
- Integrated voltage sensor with solder-free plug-in system
Which solution is right for you?
Looking for easy integration? Then the BCP-69x is the solution for you. Thanks to flange mounting and flexible cable connection, it can be easily integrated into existing systems. The continuous plunger enables reliable current transmission up to 300 A.
Does every millimetre count? The BCP-65x is ideal for applications where space is limited. Its direct current supply eliminates the need for movable cables – ideal for compact system layouts with currents of up to 125 A.
Both series have been tested under continuous load on aluminium DUTs and offer durability, stability and consistent performance – in renowned INGUN quality.
