Receptacle
The receptacle is used for easy exchange of test probes during maintenance of the test fixtures. The exchange can be done quickly and without wiring work. Crimp points are applied to the side of the receptacles to ensure test probes maintain their position once installed. It is important to note that the crimp points do not achieve their optimum function until the receptacle has been inserted into the hole. Therefore, test probes should not be installed in receptacles until they have been fitted in the probe plate.
