In 1971, the foundations for a success story were laid: Wolfgang Karl and Werner H. Heilmann jointly founded INGenieur Union (engineer union) in Constance and began producing spring-loaded test probes and the first test fixture systems. What began with seven employees has developed into an internationally successful company. Today, more than 400 people in over 65 countries work for INGUN worldwide. Even 50 years after its foundation, the company produces exclusively at its headquarters in Constance. Made in Germany is one of their guiding principles.
"For five decades, we at INGUN have been developing high-performance test technology for electrical and electronic products. Smartphones, autonomous driving, and advances in medical technology - all these developments are barely imaginable without suitable test technology. We are proud that we can support our customers worldwide with future-oriented, reliable testing solutions and in doing so actively shape the world of tomorrow," says Armin Karl, Managing Director of INGUN.
"Our goal is to improve everyday life and the quality of life in the long term with our products - we embrace this challenge every day anew with the greatest passion and will continue to do so in the future," explains Armin Karl.
