Stroke measurement probe
Stroke measurement probes (HMS) are used to check the actual working stroke of test probes in the customer application. The following procedure is recommended:
1. A stroke measurement probe is used instead of a standard test probe
2. The test fixture is closed and the DUT makes contact with the stroke measurement probe and presses the plunger into the barrel. The stroke measurement probe is compressed to the end position of the actual working stroke of the test probe. Crimp points on the barrel hold the plungers tightly in the end position reached.
3. The test fixture is opened and the stroke performed can be measured.
