Maximum stroke

It describes the maximum possible stroke of a test probe. At the maximum stroke the plunger is in the end position and cannot be further compressed. It is either defined by a large head diameter, which serves as a stop, or a calculated value. Exceeding the maximum stroke may damage the DUT or the test probe itself. To ensure optimal longevity of the test probe, we recommend operating it exclusively within the working stroke.
