Leakage test
Connectors, especially those that are later installed in the engine compartment (or in the area of the wheel arches or headlights) of the vehicle, must be checked for leaks. This test is called leakage test or seal test. To ensure the smooth functioning of the connected components, the contact terminals must not come into contact with moisture or fluids.
