Gas pressure spring
Gas pressure springs (GDF) are used to counterbalance weight and as the opening and holding support for the drive unit in the test fixture. The typical service life of gas pressure springs is approx. 50,000 load cycles; therefore, the gas springs should be replaced at regular intervals to maintain the functionality of the test fixtures without restrictions.
