Under high current
Reliable contacting for power electronics with Sonplas
Scratch-free testing: Sonplas chooses INGUN
As an internationally successful manufacturer of specialised machinery, Sonplas develops highly customised testing systems that are precisely tailored to end customer requirements.
INGUN high-current clamps of the HKR-672 and VKR-672 series enable Sonplas to achieve scratch-free, reliable contacting of round terminal posts during inverter testing. During the contacting process, the sensitive contact lamellae are pressed securely against the post, without scratching it. With a stable current, the special dual-contact geometry enables an exceptionally compact voltage measurement directly at the contact point.
- Maximum process reliability, even with high continuous currents
- Stable contacting as a prerequisite for dependable results
- Full transparency throughout the testing process, safeguarded by smart temperature monitoring
What matters is not just the technology. It’s trust. Sonplas has therefore maintained a solid partnership with INGUN over many years.

The specially designed high-current test probe with a two-part plunger reduces contact resistance, optimises current transfer and minimises heat generation.
In Sonplas testing systems, INGUN test components ensure safe contact even under demanding electrical and thermal conditions. Integrated temperature sensors provide crucial data required for seamless process monitoring.
The physical proximity of Sonplas and INGUN means short distances, personal exchange and swift coordination. These are ideal conditions to continue developing contacting solutions and precisely tailor them to each test station.
